Bosnian Austrians (locally knowns as Esterajheri) are citizens of Austria whose ancestry can be traced to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The vast majority of Bosnian Austrians emigrated to Austria during and after the Bosnian war, though a large number of Bosnians emigrated as early as the 19th century. According to the last census from 2002, the total number of Bosnians in Austria was 128,047 and they comprised 1.6% of population.
